Project Drostenburg is a unique concept in which special public education and medical specialist rehabilitation take place under one roof.
At Beemster, the challenge was to equip the new building with the best possible facilities so that the pupils – and their supervisors and parents – lacked nothing.
Beemster’s versatility has enabled us to meet all challenges: from solar energy to security. The result is a beautiful building that offers ample opportunities for treatment and research. The most striking parts of the project are the walking laboratory and the swimming pool where swimming lessons and hydrotherapy are given.
